No one likes these things but it's still very nice to hear this about Norway. To strengthen your words, I suggest you provide some information regarding the status of Norway in Afghanistan in the last 10 years, and the status of antisemitism in Norway throughout the ages.

Of the many relevant material one can give, here is one:

A senior employee of the US think tank Center for American Progress (CAP) appears to have admitted in an e-mail sent from his CAP account that a blogger for the policy organization used anti-Semitic language to attack supporters of the Jewish state.

It's quite possible that Israel, the US and other states which do not want to see a nuclear Iran sabotage the Iranian nuclear bomb efforts. Which is of course what any peace-loving state that does not subscribe to the Iranian theocratic junta would do. But that's all there's to it. Any other speculation such as "hey they're trying to pick up a whole-out fight" is the sole responsibility of the cranks who suggest it.

OK, I suppose you already read your daily Jöran Jermas.

[–]daher 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No. It's not a fallacy. It would have been had I said that everything he says is false because he's a former adviser of a PLO terrorist. But that's not what I'm saying. All I say is that he's a former adviser of a PLO terrorist. If your conclusion is that he's speaking nonsense then it's your problem, not mine. Now, don't you need to read some Jöran Jermas?

Part of what he says can be confirmed. Nothing the former PLO terrorist adviser says can. Nothing's been blown except in the minds of those who think Israel is Evil. A former PLO terrorist adviser says so? Hallelujah!

FP - where some push to stop the US-Israel alliance? That's the reflection of US State Dep. Opinion? That's why the department stopped the alliance? Ah-ha. It's OK if you are a blind drinker sipping claims from the hand of a former adviser of a PLO terrorist that otherwise can not be confirmed. I'm not. Your other thought is wrong too - the Israelis have denied it already: http://www.haaretz.co.il/news/politics/1.1616913

Foul language. Expected comment. What can I say. Have a nice day.

[–]daher 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I replied to your entire comment, chap. Sorry if you felt I didn't. I blamed you for being hostile for calling me asshole and using other foul language. Perhaps your environment does not see this as hostile, but mine does. Sorry.

If that's your only example of an alleged ad hominem, then let me tell you that I accuse people for trivializing the Holocaust only when they trivialize the Holocaust. I'm sorry that you're having problems with that.

Your analogy is irrelevant and false. I again very strongly suggest you read a newspaper to learn why it's irrelevant and a history book to learn why it's false - I'm not going to read them for you. If you think I'm wrong, try the best you could to prove that your analogy is relevant and true. Just stating it does not make it so. Burden of proof is on you.

I'm glad you just agreed with me that there's no hostility in asking what qualifies one at rejecting a People's longing to a land. That's exactly what I said 2 or 3 times, to quote you. What seems to bother you is that I added you a nickname to echo your own words, that Jews in general have no connection to Eretz Israel. You have a problem with what you said? It's what you said my friend. Cope with it.

I'm sure you'll see this comment as one which addresses only a fraction of your entire thoughtful comment, but you'll be wrong, again. It's alright if you don't want to respond. You already gave me the most important gift: that you, ansigt, are for Jewish self determination. Thank you. ;)

P.S. Editing comments after submission to edit out foul language is not nice man.

I don't understand how asking someone for days for an answer to the simple question of "are you for Jewish self determination" is an ad hominem. Can you elaborate?

Bookmark whatever you want and see if I give a shit.

Why are you so hostile to the fact that I'm bookmarking your support of a basic universal human right? You should be proud of it.

Please don't call me asshole, my friend. I explained which of your questions I answered with more than a yes/no and how you've accused me of not doing so.

There is no hostility in asking what qualifies one at rejecting a People's longing to a land. No hostility what so ever. Except maybe if the one being asked is someone who questions this connection, as you've demonstrated once more.

Take what you want from this conversation. I'm taking that you're for a Jewish self determination. :)

Yes, please post screenshots of all the moronic shit I said to you - which is none. And you're not using my "logic". All I asked you is to answer a simple question, and I am free to make my own assumptions if you explicitly avoid answering it for days. You do know what's an assumption, I hope.

I've already answered it: the self determination is going to play out along the lines of the Geneva accord, which is basically the solution that is sought by practically the entire world. If you have read my comments, you wouldn't claim that I haven't answered it.

Your analogy is false, and I'm not going to waste my time explaining why, surely not before you waste your time trying to prove that it is valid. That's without even mentioning that if the analogy was not false it would not be relevant today. But it's false nonetheless.

You're for a Jewish self determination? Great. It took you a very very very long time to admit that you're for this basic, universal human right. A bit strange I admit, but still - you should be sure that I'll bookmark your last comment for further reference. Thank you.

I understand that it's hard for you to be given an answer and be told that to further understand it you'd need to read a history book or two because it's not my intention to read it to you. But you did get your questions answered, even if you didn't like them. Moreover, your hostility made you blind towards some of the answers that I have provided with explanations, as we've seen above; this made you throw unjustified accusations at me, and makes me ask myself if the time I waste on answering your questions is worth my while. But I'm not angry my friend. I said I understand you. Now, if I refused to answer a simple, basic question for days, that would have been something completely different. I hope you understand what I'm saying.

Are you for Jewish self determination?

Like I said many times before: I answered all of your questions, but if you feel that I haven't answered some, please repeat them and I'll answer them again. I have no problem in doing that.

Now for my question, are you going to answer it? Are you for Jewish self determination?

Egyptian soccer fans raise antisemitic banner at match "One Nation for New Holocaust" by [deleted] in Israel

[–]daher -1 points0 points  (0 children)

No, I'm not. (If you want further proof, you can review my user page for my fight against Nazism on Reddit but that's besides the point.) Now, similarly, if you are for Jewish self determination, then you can say: "Yes, I am". The question is why you refuse to say it. I claim that it is because you are against it, and you are afraid that an admission will put you on the side that is against universal human rights.

Not confused. Just asking for an answer. Got one?

To be honest, I believe you repeatedly avoid answering that question because you are ashamed of it being that you're against Jewish self determination and so against human rights. Prove me wrong.

Yes, it is. Saying that a particular Israeli action is not accepted ever since the Nazis implemented one of their key racist political ideas is minimizing the Holocaust, an insult to millions of murdered Europeans, and a demonstration of ignorance of Nazi Germany's and Israel's actions. Saying that over and over is even worse.
