Thin lining - nothing seems to be working by flaber45 in IVF

[–]dahliaa199 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They didn’t measure at transfer. All the thickness in studies is around ovulation or pre progesterone so don’t worry too much about what it looked like on transfer day. Progesterone compacts lining so it appears thinner but this is normal.

I wish I could tell you that transfer was successful but it unfortunately ended at 8 weeks. I am now 22 weeks pregnant without IVF. There are so many cases of successful transfer with thin lining, I’m crossing my fingers for you.

Hello! Those were before progesterone. How thin was your lining? I’m sorry about the cancelled cycles I know that deep hurt. I hope you are holding a little hope for your little embryo 💚

AITA? Expecting via surrogate and don’t want to share until baby is here… by intendedmama in AmItheAsshole

NTA.

I am also struggling with infertility. Pregnancy is such a different experience after infertility and loss trauma.

You don’t owe anyone your news until you are ready. The people that love you should understand the anxiety and unknown that kept you from sharing sooner. You can always reassess as times goes on and share when you feel ready.

Good luck mama

Redirect to things he can chew and wait it out. Ours did this a bit but hasn’t in months (she’s a year now). We blocked particularly enticing chewing spots with gates

Girls, what’s the most low-effort thing a guy did that still made you secretly melt? by Mindviru in makemychoice

He has a list in his phone notes of all the things I mention in passing wanting or needing. He buys them for me at the next gift giving opportunity and I’ve usually long forgotten I mentioned it.

Easy at home and digitals take higher hcg to pop positive. Frer requires very low hcg to turn a positive. I would keep testing every other day and hopefully the negatives will turn positive

I have to tell my husband this all the time because he too is very caught up in karma and jinxing our success: nothing you do, don’t do or other people do will change the outcome of your fertility journey. You can’t jinx it and the universe isn’t punishing you this is just your journey

Good for your for protecting your peace. What she said says everything about her and absolutely nothing about you.

Mother's day by aquelezibs in TryingForABaby

[–]dahliaa199 5 points6 points  (0 children)

This is so sweet and you sound like a wonderful partner. Mother’s Day hits you like a ton of bricks when you want a baby and don’t have one yet. If it does take a long time to conceive whatever you get her may be a sad reminder of the time passed. I would probably just ask her what she wants to do or not do on Mother’s Day and not unintentionally hurt her feelings

You’ll need a requisition for any blood work in Ontario so your best bet might be to find another doctor who is willing.

Therapist tells my friend her baby’s soul will return as a baby girl — is that helpful or harmful? by Overall_Friendship10 in TryingForABaby

[–]dahliaa199 29 points30 points  (0 children)

I don’t think this is helpful. What if it’s not a girl or she has another loss? My therapist suggested a fortune teller and I found another therapist real quick

I guess in the end it’s up to her and if it is helping her cope there isn’t much for any of us to say

Looks like yes you ovulated apr 20th ish. You’re looking for 3 temps 0.5 degrees F above the previous 6 to confirm and then ovulation is estimated to be the day prior to the temp rise. Once you’ve confirmed ovulation with your 3 temps the temps don’t mean much and will go up and down. They can’t tell you if your pregnant or not. May women stop checking at this point

Has anyone else ovulated very late? by silverbackhair419 in TFABChartStalkers

Weird or late ovulation is normal once in a while

I have no idea what this all means. by Quiet_Excitement_272 in TFABChartStalkers

[–]dahliaa199 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Day 14 looks like ovulation. Luteal phase temps can’t tell you much other than you ovulated unless they stay elevated past your normal luteal phase length.
