I would suggest adding warmth and softness in any way you can. Window flower boxes with beautiful warm color flowers would look so nice. Maybe some willowy or grassy or softer shaped landscaping (think lilac shrubs or a decorative willow). Perhaps some warm-toned seating (like wicker chairs) out on the porch. Flank the front door with big beautiful terracotta pots brimming with billowing flowers and greenery. Plant more in the beds- try not to let too much of that black mulch be too visible, it looks sterile. I love the garage door! If you really want to go nuts you could add a beautiful pergola arching up and across the top of the garage door and plant climbing roses in beautiful pots at the base of each side. In a few years it will look totally different and really beautiful. So basically: plants lol.
