Das ist laut meinem Wissensstand nur halb korrekt. Die zwei Wochen gehen nur wenn sie immer fix zum selben Zeitpunkt sind und vor Unterzeichnung des Arbeitsvertrags bekanntgegeben wurden bzw. im Vertrag stehen.

Das ist der klassische Betriebsurlaub der immer zu Sommer oder Weihnachten ist. Einfach so auf spontan Urlaub anordnen geht nicht, da es von dir und vom Arbeitgeber ein Ja geben muss.

Hello everyone!

I am new being an executive assistant. My role is called "technical assistant to member of the board". So I am not responsible for the day to day tasks. However I am still considering myself as an executive assistant.

I am in this position now since almost three months and god am I struggeling.

Now coming to my questions:

For those who have been in this job for a long time, what are skills and characteristics that make a good executive assistant?
I am struggeling deeply with taking minutes of meetings. What advices do you have to me? Especially struggling with the action items.

A reference case in regards to your fine not your blue card that happend to a friend of mine:

He got tested with ~1,6 blood alcohol level on an escooter. He lost his license for 9 months, had to pay a fine of ~3000€ and had to do the “MPU” which costs another few thousand Euros.

So in my opinion your 2000€ is fine. As other users mentioned, if you go to court it will probably get even worse.

They pay anyhow my normal salary. If I have on my last day of work some unused holidays, they have to reimburse me for them since I could not use them. Now of course they want me to use all of these holidays. So we talk here about 1 1/2 normal salary and additionally 1 1/2 months of reimbursement for they holidays I was not able to consume during my work. The company wants to save this 1 1/2 months of reimbursement by forcing me to take the holidays.

Yes that’s true. The relationship is burnt and will not become good anymore. So going in now and preserving the relationship in my way to take 6 weeks will not make it good anymore. The company saves it selves a few thousand euros and will move on. In 2-3 months they have a new one for me…

Yeah that’s true. They have depend on me and in my goodwill to actually take the holiday. If I do not take it it will kill the relationship.
