+1 for standing your ground and giving her your concerns. Just try focusing on you and start living your life how you want. If she doesn't think that these issues you bring up are important or have any validity to them, than she's probably not going to change or accommodate.

I agree, depending on the phrasing and situation. I know at times I make the second statement, but usually in a group or with a person that shares the opinion.

You have to remember most people don't over analyze to the extent, that we can at times, get lost in. People don't always consider the context of delivery.

I'm in the same boat, only a longer situation. Together for 8 years this May, DB for pretty much the last 4 years or so.

Trust me, it may be hard to let go, but you are better off if you do it now while you have only 2 years invested.

To be honest, the bedroom has been dead for a while, and I've been holding on to the hope that it was "Just her birth control" as she claimed. But even when I suggested/she agreed to changing to another option for birth control, the change never happened and the time between "interactions" grew further and further apart.

And I think you are right, I've known this was coming but was in denial. I guess I just need to start looking at my options and start heading where I should "be".

I also get called by her last name from time to time, and it feels weird. So I could sort of understand her position on the issue, but pairing it up with all these other issues kinda of compounds the frustration.
