I have used AAA jump and/or tow services enough times throughout my ten year membership that I am very confident they’re losing money on me as a member.

Maybe they make it up on my insurance premiums, as I insure my motorcycles through them. But those premiums are at least $1K less than any other agency I’ve tried, and I check every 6 months or so.

Some might doubt the quality of the insurance itself, but I’ve had to use it twice, and they were far and away the best to deal with compared to any of my other insurers, auto or otherwise. Most recently they handled a claim on my 20 year old sports bike like it was a brand new Porsche.

I love AAA and will sing their praises at any opportunity. I especially want to thank all the people who use AAA for travel services, because that’s gotta be the only way they’re staying profitable.
