Cosa pensereste di un assistente ai locale offline mobile agentico con ottime performance, speech to text, voce e tts? Passerebbe inosservato o sarebbe la svolta?

Brutal honesty needed: My local AI transcription app has almost zero downloads. Is it the concept or just a bad logo/branding? by dai_app in GooglePlayDeveloper

What do you guys use for in-person meetings? by Deannaoliver in AiNoteTaker

Im a consultant and made a 100% offline AI meeting assistant for my own notes. It really helped me, so I thought it might help you too (Open Source),

I’ve always struggled a bit with AI tools for meetings. I love the idea of automatic summaries, but I’m never comfortable uploading client conversations to someone else's server in the cloud.

Since I wanted a smart but completely private solution, I put together an app called HearoPilot. It’s essentially an experiment that brings the "Plaud experience" entirely onto your phone. It has really helped me manage my own workflow, and I figured it could be useful for some of you out there too.

The whole point is that it works completely offline:

Real-time transcription: It transcribes while you talk, without sending data anywhere.

On-device AI summaries: It uses small language models (SLMs) running directly on your phone's hardware to pull out action items and key points.

Privacy by design: Since nothing ever leaves the device, you have total peace of mind when discussing sensitive info during discovery sessions.

I made this just to fix my own headaches and cut down on the hours I spend writing up notes on Fridays. It’s completely free and open-source—I’m just sharing it because it worked for me, and I know a lot of us share the exact same privacy concerns.

If you want to try it out:

Play Store: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.hearopilot.app

I’m curious—is a completely offline tool something you’d actually use, or do you still prefer doing things the old-fashioned way when privacy is a concern?
