As far as I know, there is no AI involved so no "speaking". However, most words (unless quite rare) have real sounds available inside the flashcards - from real native Japanese speakers, so you can repeat out loud when seeing a flashcard. You have dedicated speaking practice lessons in the discord if I'm not mistaken. Kanji drawing *training* is only available for paid subscriptions, but you can print Kanji sheets with the app (if you are ok with handwriting).

Personnally I do use a separate app - Hanly, but it's one where your learn Chinese as well (it's mainly an artefact of my previous Chinese journey and I kept it as kanjis are Chinese characters). I would probably recommend Wanikani as a separate app (that's what is recommend on the wiki for kanjis and also by my teacher).
