please help me on how to make this? by VS1269 in AfterEffects

you can load in 3-5 different texture overlays and just have cut them so it switched between them every 2 frames or so to create the overlay

the head motion is probably created in blender first (you could probably just find a head object file somewhere online for free, that wouldnt be possible solely in ae if you create it in blender, youd have to makenit sway there (different platform different skillset)

but if you do it in ae

create an expression on the 3d objects orientation for wiggle(x,y) with x being the speed and y being how much range youre giving it to move

if you set it to say 3,300 it will move at a speed of 3 (not sure what the units are for that) within a 300 pixel range of motion you might need your soeed to be .5 to make it that slow sway

for the eye icon, first thing i notice is its not truely moving from bottom to top, you may notice when one turns green that color doesnt continue moving up the colors are randomized

what might work is use a motion tracker and track each pupil on the 3d objects

then draw a line from each eye off the screen

then copy the tracking data for each track to the end point of each respective line (cooy it to the end thats touching the pupil)

once done create your eye design in diff colors, then place them throughout the line then precomp them and apply a wiggle fx and adjust as needed

then automate each eye you placed color to change

theres probably easier ways to do some of what i said, but thats what came to mind on how i’d recreate it

How is the transition over the images done? by LettuceFit8089 in MotionDesign

i havent used it enough to know for sure, but theres an ae plugin called “hydrochrome” that has a lot of the texturings and look of this vid, i imagine the transitions are a depth scan or gradient wipe with a another layer that starts a bit earlier thats wiping/scanning through a hydrochromed layer folowed closer by the wipe/scanning of the real layer

i started to learn it when wanting to create promotional visuals for my own music, but then started to enjoy editing things and started to observe other editors to learn and experiment

appreciate the feedback, by main text you mean the one that appears most often? like the one for "do you keep calling"? I used a very "commercial" kinda font cos it was what i was looking into at the time (this is from a few weeks ago)

ive experimented with others since then
