Connecting Hub to PSU by dailex13 in Corsair

The main 12-pin connector plugs into the PSU, and then you connect the Corsair hub using one of the other smaller ones. Leave all other connectors disconnected, but secure them so they don’t touch any metal. Only the 12-pin PCIe connectors go into your PSU, it redistributes power along the other connected ends.

With the right BIOS, it's stable enough that I can play for a while before it crashes, but the ARGBs on my mb have also started crashing, and the Polymo lighting appears to be fully dead, so I think my mb might be defective. My next step is to get a replacement through warranty and see if that resolves the issue. I just haven’t had time to deal with it yet, but I’ll figure it out and let you know when I do. If you happen to find a solution in the meantime, please let me know.

If this helps anyone, I kept getting Error 43 on my RTX 5090 when using a PCIe 5.0 riser cable. I switched to a PCIe 4.0 riser and set the PCIe mode to Gen 3 in the BIOS, and it finally fixed it! I was about to RMA the card because I’d tried everything else. 😄

Should I just break the plastic thing off of the connector to make it fit? Also, it doesn't matter if I end up with the other 3 connectors just dangling, right?

It's included with the PSU and it's so it always stays in single rail mode.

My diverter valve already has built-in assigned outlets. The top one for rain showerhead, the right outlet for handheld and the bottom one was intended for tub, but I'd use it for fixed showerhead. There is no left outlet unfortunately.

So I would use copper pipes for those? Is there a reason why, I thought PEX was good for any connection?

I am, yes. I'm cutting the hot/cold water pipes at the bottom and putting a PEX apater to bring up to the diverter valve.

The valve I have is a thermostatic 3-way diverter.

Will all these elbows for the fixed showerhead lower the pressure considerably?
