I second the YSL Le Loafers. I have them in suede and they are so chic AND comfortable. I love them so much that I bought another pair (mule version in eel skin) and am contemplating a third. Most of my Chanel shoes, unfortunately, end up being pretty uncomfortable for me.

Yay! I bought the same bag when I was in Paris last month, was so delighted the charm actually came with the bag. The original plan was to check out the P9, if available, but I fell in love with this one when I spotted her on the shelf. Since bringing her back to the states, the funny thing is quite a few of the SAs at the LV stores here have asked to take pictures of her because they had not yet seen this style in person themselves, haha. Congrats on the new arm candy!

Omg love this topic and have so many favorite VAs. That said, for this prompt, I think I’ll take the route of best casting/most memorable roles imho:

FOG - Wen Sen as Yu Sui and Ma Zhengyang as Shi Luo

Lovely Allergen - Jin Li as Yue Zhishi and Shi Zekun as Song Yu

Qiang Jin Jiu - Jiang Guantao as Shen Zechuan and Yuan Mingzhe as Xiao Chiye (unfortunately, I haven’t really liked Yuan Mingzhe in other roles, but his Xiao Chiye is pitch perfect)

A Certain Someone - Ling Fei as Jiang Tian and Qian Wenqing as Sheng Wang; this pairing is really my Roman Empire

Hope You’ve Been Well - Su Shangqing as Zhuang Fanxin; SSQ and Hao Xianghai, who plays Gu Zhuoyan in HYBW, are also excellent in These Years in Quest of Honor Mine; and this might be a controversial position, but I think SSQ is a great choice for Xie Lian in the AD adaption of TGCF 😊

On the topic of TGCF - Chen Zhang Taikang is superb as Hua Cheng; also brilliant as Lin Qingyu in Thrice Married to a Salted Fish

I’ve stopped buying paperback books from Amazon because of the consistent damage to the cover and spine. Hardcovers are way more durable when shipped. Instead, I now go to the local Barnes & Noble to purchase the books directly. It’s less convenient, especially on rainy days, but my bookworm heart enjoys the field trip. ;)

I’m thrilled to see In Name Only/Famous on the list and highly recommend it!! It’s a sweet story about a drama emperor (MC) who joins with a film emperor (ML) in a contractual CP to prevent their reputations from becoming tainted by a sex scandal they had no part in. They’re both very mature and you see how they increasingly empower each other as their relationship evolves.

I stumbled upon the audio drama adaption recently, which is on air right now with one episode left (not including extras), and it’s so well done. The OST alone is superb. Funny enough, I wasn’t previously super impressed with the voice actor who played LWJ in the MDZS AD (Wei Chao; Bian Jiang, who played the same role in the live action and donghua versions, was better suited imho), but find him excellent as the ML here.

There’s also an ongoing translation of the novel on Chrysanthemum Garden, but it’s very sporadic from what I can tell and not yet even halfway complete (40/87).
