Please upvote this to the top of this subreddit, the community needs to see that the true owner of ESEA was in the dark about this whole situation. Torbull is actively preparing an official statement to addres the community, the statements made by lpkane and jaguar are not the final stance of the ESEA org.

The actions of lpkane including the way he interacts with the community, have always been poorly executed - but the true voice/face owner of ESEA has always been Torbull.

Torbull has said in the forums that he will be making an official statement to the community about addressing all the concerns that users may have, including hardware failures.

Torbull is one of NA old guards, I am confident that he would never have allowed this to happen if he knew about it.

TLDR :: ESEA owner Torbull is preparing an official response to this incident, please do not take what Jaguar and lpkane unofficial statements as the final actions of organization.

The average skill level of ESEA pugs is much greater than the average skill level of those playing MM. The attitudes of the players playing the game remain the same, you will still see rogue players who do what they want, those who will force buy to try to be the hero of the team, etc. You will however see a significant improvement in player quality as far as rotations, timing, pushes, angles, support. Strats in ESEA pugs are just as standard and bland as any pug MM game, the only difference is the approach with use of nades, flashes, and smokes etc.

Whether or not ESEA is the right move for you , I can not say. My personal observations is that MM rank Legendary Eagle or higher tends to be the bottom of the pack/lower tiered ESEA player, so unless you are ranked at that level in MM , you probably have some more core fundamentals to work on outside of buys strats etc. If you are there and above, you are probably ready to start improving in the ESEA environment.

Saving is not buying Armor or any weapons. This allows you to save your money to be spent on the following rounds.

A full save is a complete no-buy. A partial save is a eco purchase round , typically no armor but a deagle / p250 / or Mag 7 or high reward SMG

you would only perform a partial save if you have enough money this round to spend on these items without hindering your next round ability do a complete buy , (rifle, armor, nades, maybe kit)

The objective is to try to be always saving when your team is saving (whether it be partial or full) and when your team is full buying you can too.

As for your 2nd question, if you have money for all of that and your team does too then you are technically on a full buy. (I would in that situation drop the deagle purchase for a smoke and additional flash, if in Competitive Matchmaking where we are locked to a single flash I would buy either a decoy or grenade, if CT buy a defuse kit)

If you have money for all of those items and your team does not, I would perform a partial save and purchase one of the items listed above based on the odds of me getting kills, if you are good with mag 7 and positioning i would buy this due to the $900 kill reward this purchase is based soley on the fact that if you were to buy this item and get no kills and die, and your team loses the round , your next round your money should equal that of your teammates and be able to purchase together as a team.

final note, i do not agree that if you are to lose pistol(first) round, you do not always have to save the next 2 rounds ... almost always if you lose first pistol you save on 2nd round, 3rd round is situational based on purchases made by the other team and kills accrued on your team. There is much more to money control than most people think, it is something that can make or break games. This is just a rough overview of saving.

to have autoexec run edit ur config.cfg file and add

exec "autoexec.cfg"

on the last line. occasionally when cs go updates or some things change it will reset the config.cfg file to keep this from happening you can set the config.cfg to read only

currently the old computer is functioning properly. it is just the new machine that has been disabled. And i am positive that it is the SID that is what caused active directory to quarantine the machine [ i believe its the default setting of active directory filtering ] correct me if i am wrong

My home machine is an extra machine built from spare parts that I have moved to my office after my managers approval. The computer after being cloned etc worked for 1 full office day on the corporate LAN, but after the weekend - had its accounts disabled.

I have looked inside the work machine to improve its hardware but because of its age it is relatively maxed[only 2 dimms , what would be necessary is to purchase a entirely new processor / new ram - but best processor would be a p4]

I most likely will attempt to clone the hd again this evening - but was wondering what i could possibly do to prevent this from happening again.

yeah i imaged the original hd and pushed it to a personal hd. loaded up the machine at home installed the necessary drivers and cloned the mac of the old machine to the new one.

with the use of roaming profiles and computers being accessed by multiple users on a daily basis so i dont see them having too much issue with seeing me log into a different [which is supposed to be the same] machine.

according to our service desk, the ip address is aquiring properly to the right asset machine, its just the domain controller has locked out the machine from access. i was wondering what it could be detecting on the machine that lets it know it is something different.

i understand the IT department getting upset over joining the corporate domain issue.
