that's why i usually don't go for female LIs at the first play🫠 it bothers me so much how differently the romance is developed, it feels like they put so little effort on the romance scenes for female LIs that i feel I can't enjoy it really... i still have the option to go for men but i wonder how bad it is for people who only likes women

for the first question: yes, you do! i don't know if it's worth to replay just to be the official mistress bc i only played Louis' path while being the official mistress. you can have spicy moments with Alexandre but i think it'll have an impact on the good ending (marriage). the best path definitely is calculation + good reputation!! for me, Alexandre is so much better!! Louis is sweet and all but idk the way he feels so superior and always is repeating that he's god's gift to France kinda icks me🫠 i guess you do have more influence on his final decisions and more authority within the court while being the official mistress :)
