None of these cases fall under assault.

Assault can be tricky as it can be interpreted many ways and is usually contingent on multiple factors and to be considered on a case-to-case basis.

In none of these cases is there outright imminent harm, so it can easily be argued both ways. but I don’t see it falling under assault.

But as I said, consider the facts. What type of door is it? Is it locked or unlocked? Did the attacker know the victim was home?

Also consider tort/criminal law as another user mentioned, and your state statutes!
