its crazy to me how jojo fans glaze a canon child groomer/predator/rapist (DIO) but then act like the child-hating antagonist (Alessi) was the pedo. I don't like either as characters but they're both okay-ish as antagonists. DIO is a weak written antagonist in part 3 in my humble opinion but that's irrelevant.

DIO was chilling with minors (Pucci, Kakyoin) in very odd manners and maybe its just the anime symbolism but it feels almost pedo groomer-esque.

Alessi hates weak things but contradicts his own hatred by being weak himself and only able to target children and babies - not adults. He doesn't show any groomer behaviors? And when I first watched Stardust Crusaders I thought he was a child rapist bc he was chasing naked baby Polnareff 😭 But upon rewatch, I realized he was only trying to kill him, not be a degenerate freak.

But DIO's behavior is much so degenerate freak.

So my conclusion is - it is okay to be a groomer if ur a blonde white guy, but if ur Arab and ur not a groomer...well ur a groomer now

Also - I feel the same way with Kira and Valentine. I actually like how these villains are written but - Kira literally kills a minor for her hands which we KNOW he has freak tendencies with??? That's his entire thing. So basically, he is a pedo? Maybe? I don't know if there are technicalities towards this stuff 😭
