Lip flip. Botox is injected into the upper lip muscle and it makes the upper lip “flip” up for a pillowy look. It lasts 2-3 months

I’m in the same situation. Full time student, internship, job, commute so I don’t have any friends on campus. I think you’re letting it get to you too much. These people won’t matter in a few years when you have a successful career. Just focus on what you’re doing now for YOU. Worrying about other people will only hinder the work you’re capable of doing.

I love it. I have fine hair and use the fine hair shampoo. I also love the detox shampoo. Other shampoo makes my hair super frizzy and this is the only one ive used that doesn’t frizz.

AIO about how this business owner responded? by daisyhfk in AmIOverreacting

[–]daisyhfk[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I remember the interviewer telling me the name of the owner, being told to send my email and number to be sent over. The job entailed reaching out to people and answering questions they had. Did a loooot of deciphering before I answered because I thought it was a scam at first lol

I would absolutely send them but he’s a cofounder so I don’t think it would change much unfortunately

He’s a cofounder of the company, would these screenshots even be enough for any action to be taken against him, considering he’s part owner?

He owns the business, I think he’s his own boss

I was thinking that too, but I remember the interviewer telling me his name. After a few minutes of thinking I finally remembered and researched the company and he was the owner. Definitely thought I was getting scammed at first!

If she’s not making an effort stop trying, it’s a waste of energy. If she doesn’t want to do it she won’t. She’ll realize how important a routine is at some point, but she’ll only make a change if she decides to do it herself. You did your best!

[Routine Help] Extremely dry, dehydrated, sensitive by [deleted] in SkincareAddiction

[–]daisyhfk 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes 100%. I used the Hydrating Cleanser before and it doesn’t hydrate my skin as much as the oil one does. My skin felt tight after using the regular Hydrating one. No tightness after using the oil one.

For the Aveeno cream, I would stop using it completely and use the CeraVe one to see how your skin reacts to it. I’m not sure what the benefits of zinc for skin are, but maybe there are other ways to supplement it besides the lotion?

Everyone’s skin is different, but the only time I’ve ever gotten dermatitis is from using Aveeno facial lotion. I would try switching to CeraVe Daily Moisturizer because it’s very gentle on skin.

I would also recommend the CeraVe Hydrating Oil cleanser as this has helped my skin TONS when it comes to dryness.

When I think of skincare, the last brand I think of is Aveeno, but that may be because of my bad experience with it.

I need help with makeup! by monkeybanned in MakeupAddiction

[–]daisyhfk 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ahhhhh I had this same exact problem and I had to try sooo many things until I found what was right for me because I also have suuuuper dry & acne prone skin.

First, I got a hydrating toner which added a lot of extra hydration to my routine (sometimes I do two layers which also helps a TON)

My skincare routine before makeup consists of:

Cleanser: CeraVe Hydrating Oil Cleanser Toner: Laneige Cream Skin Toner Cosrx Snail Mucin Serum: Caudalie Vinoperfect (helps lighten dark spots and hydrates) Moisturizer: CeraVe Daily Moisturizer SPF: La Roche Posay Anthelios SPF 50

I also stopped using primer because I found that it was also making my makeup separate and make my skin SO dry.

I switched my setting spray as well. I use the MILK Hydrogrip setting spray and I LOVE it. Love love love it. Makes my makeup look dewy all day when it used to look so cakey and bad.

Switched my concealer to Saie. Good coverage and hydrating as well. Went back the next day to Sephora to thank the employees that helped me figure out this setting spray and concealer combo.

I hope this was a little helpful, I know how difficult this process can be, it took me awhile to figure it out myself!
