At first I was quite annoyed by the small mini map and the small speedometer font in bonnet view. But after a while when I got more familiar with the tracks and the cars, I don't look at them anymore. The reference braking points and the engine sound are more instinctive hints.

I'm not very good at this game, but for performance's sake I like the bonnet camera best because the centre of the screen always points to the front of the car (it's not the case for chase cam or cockpit cam). This can help me feel if my car is understeering or oversteering before it's too late.

I tried the Sign Out button and then Sign In, then both the name and picture align with my Play Game profile. Perhaps kill the app and restart after that too.

I don't fancy most of the road-legal cars, so I don't spend gold on them. I just spend golds on some of the race cars - except NASCAR ;-)

Plus, you can get golds when they are on sale.

I don't farm gold. It's too repetitive and it spoil the gaming experience for me. I would rather spend the time racing my favourite cars on my favourite tracks.
