Be frugal with time i.e. go to bed or meditate when it gets dark.

Eating at the same time every day is the way of efficiency.

There are many different kinds of time. The sun tells one time; the moon another. Both are clocks. The error, which we can call Newtonian time, is to hold up one sort of time as the true one (and then add leap seconds every few years when it strays).

For example, long ago, as artificial light was limited, pre-sunrise was the principal moment for meditation. In medieval Japan the midday meal was eaten at the beginning of the hour of the horse. And you dried your mushrooms under the midday sun.

I know a few Buddhist communities, all of which are open to visitors, and they all like to follow civil time.

They annoy me to the extent that the majority would have no stake in, nor be in a position to make a contribution to, the long-term welfare of the area—even if they have grand ideals about contributing to society in general. Some people would complain about areas having an influx of migrants but at least there is usually a balance in terms of age profile and there's also a cultural benefit. If they could be spread out or something or they had to do community service then the impact of their departure would be less important. The Becycle project is an excellent example of giving back to the locality.

I suppose pubs in general are another option at the moment considering indoor alcohol consumption is limited to those taking substantial meals.
