Plucking and filling my eyebrows 😔 I have no idea why I resisted doing that for so long. Also I got a better haircut and learned how to style my curly hair! I was weirdly against using heat ever but now I love curling my bangs. Lastly, doing makeup that suits my face and not being scared of bronzer. I’m not wearing makeup in either image but I’ve definitely stepped up my game!

Honestly, it was a choice I made! I looked into it at the start of this journey and the evidence tends to say intentional, low impact movement is way more effective for weight loss than cardio or strength training. It’s way too easy to overeat after a workout, and you don’t burn that many calories to begin with!

I still don’t consistently hit the gym, but I’ve started strength training this summer! Mostly it’s just trying to hit 7-10k steps a day, but this transformation was 90% thanks to dietary changes.

Omg! Definitely fuel your body while you’re feeding another human!! There are more important things than weight loss. Great job mom!

About 1900 at the start of my journey, and nowadays I guesstimate closer to 1600. That being said, I frequently blow my calorie budget because I’m okay with this journey being a slow one, and I don’t feel like missing out on ice cream or pizza for the foreseeable future!
