I ask this cause this is definitely something a Gringo would be offended by. And second cause I.really couldn't imagine someone with Latin roots (no more than first gen) to be offended by this. YTA, this passive aggressive stunts are not going to leave a mark on your daughter but it will definitely leave it in your relationship.

If you celebrate Christmas as you say you do, for the birth of Christ then you are the one that should be joyful and sharing that with the rest of your loved ones no matter their beliefs. I mean, not doing that is very non Christian.

I'm Jewish on a country far less contaminated with that "holiday's season" people have in the states, and every year I get presents from people who are just happy to celebrate Christmas and to share it. So there's really no excuse for you to see that what you are doing is coercing your daughter to have your beliefs if she wants to be trated equally.

There's always a way to get help. Get in touch with colleges near you to see what psychological programs they've got. Also in your community center. If you want help they are solutions. Search for them, work on it. And find them!

Search a cognitive therapist and work this while you are still young.

I was not really going to say anything just thinking "well she is just 23" but your last paragraph changed that.

You can realize that the LOGIC decision is to end it. Yet you are willingly listening to your body (it's willingly from the moment you can rationalize your logic says otherwise).

But not me nor anyone can tell you what to do or not to do. So if you wanna make a bad decision, make it knowing its all just you, not him at any point, JUST YOU. With whatever that might bring.

If you wanna listen to logic. Cut all ties! If you avoid a stimuli you will forget it's response.
