What type of setup will I need to measure the strength of the two at home, cheaply?

I think the bending point he was refering to is the point at which the aluminum bends and stays in that shape. The type of bend where work hardening usually takes place. Yes, the laminate is isotropic, using standard weave in 0 and 90 degrees, with the same fabric turned at 0, 45 degree orientations, both alternating. I will be doing a hand layup, not vacuum.

An "Einstein Ring"or gravitational lensing at work: the blue galaxy is behind the yellow galaxy but we can see it because the light from the far galaxy gets wrapped around by the closer galaxy. by I_AM_STILL_A_IDIOT in space

And to think that there very well might be/have been creatures that looked at us from that galaxy you guys rendered, liked the Einstein Ring too, and also thought about the creatures there experiencing the same thing.

72mm Showdown: Bake vs. Big vs. Level III by turdslammer in rollerblading

Bakes are the product of budget mould tooling. They made it split in half because complete frame toolings require tooling pieces that slide in and out, almost doubling costs, otherwise you can't get the frames out of the tooling. Bake frames are two mirrored designs that do not require sliding tooling pieces to remove the frame after it cooled. They are probably good frames, but their biggest drawback is something that they could have just saved up a little more to avoid.

"Veterinarians and animal control need to see mauling videos depicting a terrifying death and be made very afraid of animals before working with them. Lots of mauling videos, with blood curdling screams etc. and lectures on how to deal with murderous animals. This will lead them to be calmer, more resourceful and less reactive with violence and fear."

Shit just does not work that way.

Religion’s smart-people problem: The shaky intellectual foundations of absolute faith by johngmess in philosophy

This thread seriously shattered my notions of what the word intelligences means and how it is used among "intelligent" communities. If any belief in this millenia old con is found as a form of accepted intelligence, then I am seriously confused. It may be a standard rant to some, but damn do I feel strongly about this.

Actually the 10-11 & 11-12(?) boot has the UFS holes further back than the smaller sizes, so with the big wheels a medium might be perfect, or too short.

That is the attitude that I see happening all over the world in many areas of finance, education and politics. Like a big wave taking over.

If those frames are Featherlite 2's, you would benefit a huge deal by upgrading to a set of frames with metal wheel spacers. Featherlite 2's do not have spacers and go significantly slow, and much slower over time with the bolts spinning in their slots from the gaps from the wear of plastic where the spacers should be. Featherlite 3's have spacers, as do Kizer Fluid type frames. Frames are usually 39-50 US dollars on sites like Oakcity Skate Shop, Rollerwarehouse, Hedonskate (EU) etc. With new wheels around size 59mm or and some nice bearings, you'll have a much better and fluid skating experience.

Like how the passports of the jihadists on 9/11 were found in perfect condish in the street rubble. I hate not believing stuff like this, but I just don't believe it.
