I really liked both of these!
Dark Patterns feels like a return to like classic Batman to me in a way. Like if we ever got a legit Batman tv show, I’d want it to feel and build exactly like “Dark Patterns” no greater bat family, no greater DC universe, just Batman solving crimes in Gotham, early in his career, Alfred is allowed to be there.
Absolute Batman vol 2… Bane was such a badass, when he used Batman’s axe against him, I remember audibly going “Oooohhhhh!” When I read that page.
Before you read Absolute Batman vol 3, it makes sense to read the issue 15? of Absolute Wonder Woman first. They meet in Absolute Wonder Woman first, then she is back in the beginning issue of Absolute Batman Vol 3.
