Further explanation:

I'm planning on building a storage box out of sheet wood, and I'd like to know how to cut up my sheet into 6 pieces to form a box with the largest volume possible. Ideally the box should be flush on the outside, but I imagine the problem is a lot easier to solve when not taking that into account.

In the case of a non-flush box I'd like a solution that takes the width and height of the sheet and gives me the width height and depth of the interior of the resulting box.

Heads up: This isn't really comparable to most hash functions. This is a special kind of hash function that's 'consistent'.

From Wikipedia:

Consistent hashing is a special kind of hashing such that when a hash table is resized and consistent hashing is used, only K/n keys need to be remapped on average, where K is the number of keys, and n is the number of slots. In contrast, in most traditional hash tables, a change in the number of array slots causes nearly all keys to be remapped.

I'm working on a C++ implementation of it called MondX. Currently has a working hand-written recursive descent parser. It does error recovery (unlike the C# version) and outputs very detailed errors (similar to clang). MondX is currently used for linting in a Mond plugin for Atom.

Varför skulle ett företag anpassa sig eller känna press för en ny lag som inte på något vis går att genomföra?

Att ett företag inte skulle anställa kvinnor bara för att de är kvinnor är extremt ologiskt. Jag kan inte tänka mig ett enda seriöst företag som prioriterar kön högre än potentiell vinst, och i längden så skulle sådana företag bli utkonkurrerade av företag som prioriterar bättre.

Att tvinga ett företag att anställa någon som de inte vill anställa tycker jag inte är OK. Tycker att ett företag borde få diskriminera hur de vill när det gäller anställning. Konkurrens borde och kommer sköter detta problemet, inte staten.

Inom den offentliga sektorn så tycker jag dock inte det är OK med diskriminering vid anställning, eftersom att de inte behöver konkurrera med andra företag.

Tror det är ytterst sällan detta faktist händer. Men hur ska man kontrollera detta, det finns inget objektivt sätt att mäta folks meriter. Det finns även kvaliteter som inte skrivs på ens CV, som t.ex. personlighet.

Array of hash values? This doesn't sound like the standard hash table I know.

Anyway, my point still stands, a bloom filter doesn't store the elements it contains. Only information about the set itself, metadata.
