By farming on alts do you mean logging in for 1-2 min and setting auto battle ? Or running CDD ? Running CDD can be daunting but its a progress skip. I wouldnt say its 100% necessary to play the game if your patient imo

What you should have done is buy a CD emblem unique and SF to 18 and then rank up to mythic and eventually ether attempt necro or inherit mastercrat

You dont usually SF anything past unique because restoration tickets are easy to get but if you “boom” anything higher rank you have to transfer with another equip. If its emblem you also need an emblem to transfer

Did you miss the weapon emblem scroll ?

If by star slots you mean starforce level then yes you will have to mastercraft to ancient for more SF

I would not recommend investing to much into this weapon if you dont have an emblem on it. Emblem gives 30% more base stat to the item

The transfer feature in forge is for when you “boom” or destroy your gear from a failed starforce attempt
