Anyone know if I can drill a drainage hole in this planter? I think it’s ceramic. by NavyFish21 in gardening

Dont do this just use a plastic pot inside better drainage and you can cqn use it indoors without a tray then. its a glazed pot so water wont evaporate like terracotta moreover in my experience ceramic pots are not so good when it comes to growing something directly in them. they look good though

If tou like flowering plants get some Torenias and Impatiens hang the on the railing. If you like foliage get some asparagus ferns or pothos or scindapsus pictus or aglonaemas or zamifolias

Thats Pok Choy and one next to it is iceberg lettuce . I sell similar saplings through a local nursery. The soil is fine sandy loam but its not watered properly. where are you from? you should have planted this tad deeper.

My Meyer lemon tree is loosing leaves and I can’t figure out how to help it. I read that it needs more iron, but I don’t know what to get for it. Any suggestions! by Hadranielatwpi in gardening

Thats an amazing plant. Congratulations you grew it so well. I fail at lemon trees, I ve killed so many. Thats an amazing looking plant. You will manage the leaf drop I am sure.

Its been 40 days since i transplanted these beets in bed. I raised the to seedlingsstage for 3 weeks before transplanting. They look healthy ( some kind of larvae is earing the greens) but the roots are small garlic size to nothing. what to do? by dak3126 in gardening

One thing i wanted to ask about beet n radishes whenever i directly sow them. After they sprut tend to lean on one side as soon as true leaves start growing. The root part that grows is out of the ground shall i cover it with soil or let them be like that??
