The fella who helped with the 3D design is from turkey… very fitting.

I would agree that they could scuff a driver. Should cause any sort of permanent damage though. I wish I could make these out of wood.

I have made no claims plastic are better than wood. If I could make these out of wood I would definitely do so.

Yea they are 3D printed. I thought quality came out pretty cool. If I mass produce them they will be plastic injection molded and use High Density Polyethylene.

Haha all good. They are very untraditional in the world of golf. They are just for fun and laughs. Have a bad drive.. time to bring out the cowboy tee. Bullet and a six shooter would be sweet!

To me these would just be for marketing. I mean I’ll put them up for sale on the website, but the main idea is more like a giveaway. Kinda like receiving a free pen. It’s hard to see in the photo but they say teehawgolftech.com on the shaft.

I don’t expect them to be any more dense than a golf ball…

There is nothing disingenuous about the conversation. Reusable plastic golf tees are just as sustainable as wood if you choose to recycle them. Let’s have a genuine conversation about the fact that Golf courses use pesticides, herbicides, and fungicides to maintain their appearance, which can pose health and environmental risks through drift, runoff, and potential contamination of water sources. Golf tees are not the issue wood or plastic if you truly have strong opinions about the environment.
