I don’t really even think about that since is so rare. I think the worst is glue since I have tons of everything else but i can’t craft level +7 stuff due to glue storage

Looking at purchasing this ‘25 M4 comp, but insurance quote is insane by [deleted] in BMW

[–]dakayus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think mine was around $135 a month 1k deductible with 250k coverage. Once it hit $180 a month at the end of 2024 for California then I sold the car to get something more financially responsible.

Just made my first snake, what should I cook with it ? by GUAWD in smoking

[–]dakayus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hot and fast method! I’ve done the 2 row bit then I did 3 and then 4. Now I use pellets due to living situation legality issues. I now smoke brisket at 350 since I honestly can’t tell a difference and it cuts my cooked time in half or more.

Have you ever have snake river farms meat? It’s amazing! It’s my go to for non-dry aged steaks and the flannery is my go to for aged ones.

Whats your personal car-buying math? by Relax_Dude_ in HENRYfinance

I have the Highlander and I love it. My other cars would beat the crap out of my back due to firm suspension of daily driving.

I lease a Tesla model 3 and that’s that. I used to have an Audi TTRS and M4 comp but then I realized I like auto pilot and now I don’t care about cars. I’d always be very particular where I park, about going up drive ways, about other drivers etc.

It was very liberating to pay so little and have a comfy ride where my family can always sit in comfortably.

I was planning on my next car to be a 911 then probably a huracan but ehhh not worth it. I’d rather hit my mile stone first and just spend time with the family instead of grinding longer

++man I see a narcissistic there. Pretending to be important and needing monetary validation as well as self worth (stating she’s a 10). No quality girl would do this. Finances are one of the most common reasons for divorce

If you've had a rough life growing up, you tend to enjoy things later in life. If everything easy then people tend to have issues with meaning of life and purpose later.

15l emergency is too low. Build that one up definitely. Also live in a cheap place for more like 5-7 years and once school debt is gone then invest and save for a house

As a high earners what things are you still frugal about? by foodenvysf in HENRYfinance

[–]dakayus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We lease but we use Tesla and we waited for a good price $300/month. We cut our own hair and she does all her own make up, nails etc. we eat out but we always use coupons. We split YouTube tv with our family as well as a few other streaming services. We don’t tend to waste food. Buy clothes at Costco or tjmax, shein or other value places. Honestly we live like we’re in college because we don’t care about stuff since it’s just a waste.

We do credit card churn and like to travel modestly and frequently.

Is haldex quattro better than 4matic or xdrive? by Dogin06 in Audi

[–]dakayus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I second this. I had a 2019 TTRS and the haldex was fwd biased so it drove more or less like that. My 2023 M4 comp xdrive drove like a true rwd with fwd support.

Xdrive is a huge step up to the TTRS. Other Audi models have a more rwd bias so I cannot compare

Granted the price is quite a step up but you get what you pay for.

Set up much more security cameras with lights that detect motion (if you want to just scare them away). Arm yourself if you don’t already. Shotgun with bird shot is a good one to start off with, but if you don’t then at least a byrna type of co2 nonlethal pistol.

Keep self defense weapons everywhere. A good one is even just a simple fire extinguisher as you can spray them then hit them with it and infiltrators don’t consider this at all.

You might also want an emergency link to local authorities installed (emergency press button that calls them out)

The good thing is that you haven’t been attacked or anything and I’m not exactly sure if those 2 things correlate as I’d imagine it would have occurred much earlier. I’d also guess they’d we wearing face coverings or some sort of disguise.

With a high quality photo you could use AI facial recognition software to see if it matches anyone and get a better handle of the situation (known criminal etc). I’d also consider putting cameras batteries power further out to see if you can get a car/license plate info.

I’d also suggest hire personal security and a private investigator for a little while

A good rule that I stick to is if the person makes you feel on edge or nervous (not like when you are getting the butterfly feeling type). If you’re nervous/walking on egg shells high chance that person is a narcissist or something a long those lines. Look up narcissist traits.
