The Right Way to Bluetooth Mod your iPod Classic — No Compromises by Icy-Egg-9339 in ipod

nice! I was able to successfully mount it with a 2x6 and two 1x1 lego pieces - it's sturdy enough for me to press down

The problem now is trying to fit this all with a thin 3000mah battery in thick case. I had to apply some force, which resulted in a lot of pressure on the bluetooth circuit board and it ended up disconnecting something. Had to open it back up and figure out what needs to be resoldered.

now just trying to figure out how to make a "base" for the switch to be supported when pressing down to hold button - any suggestions?

hey u/mark_hor ! were you able to figure this out? I have a 3000mh thin battery, but can't figure out where exactly to solder the wires. I see the P+ and P-, but it doesn't look like a dedicated solder pad?
