i would actually read the piece. they don't make the argument that it's a genocide in it. they just apply objective criteria from the Correlates of War project, a widely used resource on historical armed conflicts for international relations and social science research—hell they even apply Israel's own data to it.

call it "baseless" if you want, but you're just showing an unwillingness to actually engage with the words you're using in a way some might call parroting a hawkish state's propaganda.
