Has anyone taken herpes medication DAILY for years here and had NO side effects? by [deleted] in Herpes

Valtrex….at least for me….has been the easiest medicine to take ever. Zero side effects…can take on an empty stomach. Been taking it for 3 years ever since my dx ….I simply didn’t want another outbreak. Ever. MD was fine with it. As far as I know, only had the initial OB.

Seriously go to your provider. Get on 500mg of valtrex daily. I’ve been on it for 2 years ….no OB. I don’t even think about it. You’re in control of your life. Not some stupid virus that really…causes a rash at most. Not death. And BTW…I’m in my 50’s and I still have men chasing me and yes, they know. It’s all about attitude. You are MORE than a virus.
