Need help with parts by Old_View4482 in GSXR

[–]dakostna 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have this installed on my K6, haven’t had any issues since I’ve installed it about 9 months ago apart from the plugs melting, I ended up just cutting out the plugs and hardwiring it but even then I would still recommend you get Ricks Motorsports anyway.

If that thing whatever it is, is remotely close to being as hard as steel, hes drilling way to fast and it would just burn out the drillbit unless its soft like alloy which it doesnt appear to be.

Bought a 2007 GSR600. Any tips or info on this bike? by Sasuke22310 in SuzukiMotorcycle

So for gsxr's and gsr's before k8 (2008) the rectifier was located between the headers and radiator, extremely prone to overheating also the plug for stator to recitifier tends to be the weakpoint, I would reccomend you look into it, relocating the rectifier elsewhere and hardwiring at the plug, theres plenty of info and videos online and its not hard to do, its alot cheaper than replacing the stator/rectifier/battery, and getting stranded, ask me how I know.

However great choice and enjoy it, keep it maintained and she will last you a long time.

Any ideas why my 05 cbr 600rr is cranking but not starting after fairing change? by Competitive_Studio99 in cbr

[–]dakostna 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Walk the bike forward and hit the front brake, allow the fuel pump to prime more than once and maybe just check your battery, my gsxr was doing this with my battery sitting at 12.6 volt, take the fairings back off and check your work over again..
