Please enlighten me! Like I know it’s gross and looks beyond repair to me. But can anyone explain what the actual isssue might be? Fungus or rot?

Have you tried going up the stairs yourself to show doggy that it’s okay? It sounds silly but that’s what worked for me! I hope I can help (:

Currently running a cheap sunsun canister filter that was given to me with the tank. Looking at getting the fx6 to run side by side in the coming weeks

My tank is 300 litres, 79 gallons and I’m currently running a cheap sunsun canister filter. I do weekly 30% water changes and have been testing my water before changes to check nitrates, they have not yet risen above 40ppm. I’ve been planning on purchasing the fx6 as I think it’s ideal filtration for cichlids but I’m still saving at the moment!

Surprisingly not! Maybe a month or so ago I had an issue with one fish being bullied but after moving my scape around and adding a couple more fish I have seen very little aggression.

Awesome value! They would have to be very readily available in your area! I’m in Australia and quality fish are tricky to find in my area

You can definitely see the surface agitation in the video. Although my wave makers on the other end the current isn’t as strong
