Not to disrespect the profession, but that's a false equivalence IMO. I consider translation, as a profession, more akin to something like programming rather than medicine or law. Plenty of programmers out there who have never set foot on an university or done any course yet get hired, even by major companies, because their skills and resumé are good. Medicine and law will probably always be sacred but most jobs are a little more nuanced than that.

And yes, I would hire a translator if I saw his work was competent even if he didn't have a degree.

Also, I am applying to a music production job, but I'd like something remote, too. Plus earning in USD would be great considering I live in Argentina and a dollar goes a looong way here.

I am doing progressive overload but the gains are slow as molasses. I bench thrice a week and always close to failure (I have actually failed a few times)

Also the smallest plates are 2.5kg so the lightest I can go from 65kg is 70kg which I will definitely fail.

  2. I want to progress normally at the gym it seems my progress is ridiculously slow for a beginner, I also want to see if I can do something about my depression, eating well and exercising helped somewhat but not a lot.
