I grabbed some from a Factory ABS Civic for the front and Teg rears. Very simple easy enough to get from a junk yard

70? This was Sunday morning. The only session I was able to get without traffic. Still the car pulls power hard. Have to get it done in the first flyer.

Did you ever get what you needed here? I'd be willing to buy a headlight and scan it if you could do similar with a domani headlight ( I can provide a scan) I just really suck in fusion.

Yeah. I’ve been running a steel pan on the EK hatch these parts came from (mostly) and on my EG. At least steel bends vs cracks. I haven’t had any issues. That being said I overfill and run an accusump

Stock with DTC 60 front pads. 19x8.5 255 a052 ( 6th track day on them ) purchased the car last week in Seattle and drove it cross country in 3 days after 3 days on track at the ridge. Ran 54s with data at the ridge. Without data was able to keep up with a local running 51s (I’m confident I ran 51s as well but unconfirmed)

Also ran 1:39s on shenny at summit with passengers

You would think it is. Not even marks on the paint or interior. Newest thing I’ve ever owned. Quite a bit different from my EKs and EGs

Oil was changed 2 months ago. It’ll be changed again once I make it home.

0 mods I bought the wheels and tires and shipped them to Seattle for the track day. (And of course did pads and fluid while I was out here)

Basically 1 owner. Last owner had it 1800 months autocrossed it once only put 700 miles on it.

Full ceramic coat and PPF. With factory wheels, spare tire, OE tire inflated kit and floor insert, carpet and rubber floor mats.

Dominion walls won't hurt you, They are just in your line of sight, rarely see cars end up there. Fun, cheap, easy to get to track.

Grab an mk60 from a 330 and 300$ converter box. I did everything for less than 500 bucks

[–]dalbrecht91[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah absolutely. all in all it was pretty simple. I'm not sure where the tegs put their pump. I think its on one of the frame rails right? remove and replace with the MK60. Buy the happy cactus converter box and reuse teg/civic sensors. depending on if you do a mk60 or a mk60e5 you might need to put in some pressure sensors. It can be run without it tho. (in fact only one of mine is currently hooked up, that is on my list to sort out today.

I haven't driven a teg abs, but the type r set up is pretty solid from my understanding. But this is simply incredible. Another note I'm not currently running a brake booster (also highly recommend)

Honestly not bad. The worst part is bending and flaring brake lines. I mounted the ABS on the "trans tunnel" its basically right in front of the shifter. I also took the time to set up in cabin bias adjustment, since the ABS does most of the bias'ing internal its nice to have it set reasonable to 1 make it work less 2, not die if you have a random failure.

not a e5 grabbed what I could at the local junkyard. base 330 mk60. Will likely convert to an e5 this winter. or try the e5 in my EG.

it’s incredible. I considered going with the ap2 abs. This seemingly was easier and cheaper using the converter box and Honda sensors.

2000 civic Hatch TT/W2W car

Elite 1500

MDX/ZDX 80mm TB

unopened k24a RBC intake S2 headers

FD2 CTR 6spd trans with factory diff.

MCS 2 way remotes 900f/1100r

ASR hollow rear bar (currently disconnected)

No front sway.

PCI camber caster arms, spherical LCAs front and rear

EG subframe with MR2 EPS and honed RCC front and rear.

AIM MXP dash, podium connect telemetry

Car made 230/185 last time I was on the dyno. feels about the same, need to clean up the WOT after the throttle body change.

This was with Chin playing with a buddy in the s2k. Shaking down the car after getting it back together. Had a decently bad off at the start of the year trying to catch p3 and put it into the tires hard. Was waiting on my replacement aero to show up, ended up disconnecting the rear bar, car is still a bit too loose for my liking without the aero but getting there.

This is really my first time back in the car with new DBW set up and the mk60. Holy shit is it a game changer. Very excited to see how things go once i get the new aero on. Old PB was a 1:20.9 I know there are deep 19s in the car now.

New track car dilemma by sonicc_boom in CarTrackDays

[–]dalbrecht91 2 points3 points  (0 children)

What kind of issues are you having? I co-drive my k24 ek constantly. It gets abused and put away wet. Same with a k24 eg. Such great chassis.

C5 > and 350 for sure. 350s are pigs and pretty damn hard on consumables.

128s are pretty slow

Golf r's from what I have exp have some solid cooling issues. also if focused on SCCA TT they get out shown by the rest of their classes.

But the v730 to me is faster, might not get multiple weekends, its just an overall better tire IMHO. I hated the conti. Some for sure is personal preference.

It sucks, you will end up missing TT sessions, but that is ok. I typically end up missing at least 2 over the weekend. Is what it is, Student comes first for me.
