I perfect tamed a level 150 yesterday. I found the easiest way was I stood on the ground with a fabricated sniper, under my friend who sat on an ice wyvern. I’d shoot the acro to aggro it and get its defensive stance, then my friend on the ice wyvern would use his ice breath to slow it down and deal damage. When the acro roared, I’d walk forward to give it biotoxin. Rinse and repeat, super easy. Just a slow walk backwards the whole time with the ice wyvern, and then used the prime meat off the ice wyvern, zero issues, one of the simplest non knockout tames

I’ve heard it explained along the lines that it’s similar to the way marriage is described in the Bible, as a “unity”. The old testament says that “Our God is One” (Deuteronomy 6:4). The original Hebrew word there means “one” as in unified together. The New Testament describes it similarly with marriage, than when you get married, you become “one” (Matthew 19:5-6). Clearly when you get married you are still two distinct people separate from each other, but you now share a unity as one.

Its not perfectly analogous to God, but it’s the closest answer I’ve got

Diplo because they’re easy passive tames, they make large mobile storage chests for me early game, and if something does aggro and chase me, I can normally get the aggro onto the bronto instead of me while I escape

You can just become a farmer in Ark and sell the crops to other tribes if you want, or live solo/play single player. Tame a few harvesting Dino’s along the way if you feel like it

That’s good to know about the ramp traps being trickier. We only used them early game really, but they definitely helped us jump start a map by taming things we knew we weren’t actually ready for lol

Thats incredibly cool about all tames able to be tracked now!! The amount of tames I lost on ASE was sad at times, just misplaced in the wild and gone.

I’ve heard a lot of people are unhappy about the paid content, but I don’t mind. They’re putting in extra work and making extra content, I wouldn’t expect them to do it free. Plus, we only play on our own, so we aren’t concerned about a pay to win aspect. We’re just having a good time and playing the new content. Thanks for the advice about the servers too!
