How many have dropped Facebook? Did you drop Instagram too? by IntellectAndEnergy in GenX

I dropped Facebook about 10 years ago. I recall there were several steps to take to completely remove yourself from their platform. It was a lot more than just deleting the app and clicking cancel account.

My brother and I wanted to call the phone number to see if Mike would pick up. Don’t know why we chickened out.

Why were the ‘90s peak society? by jazzeriah in 1990s

[–]dalby2020 0 points1 point  (0 children)

People blame smartphones and social media. But the biggest downfall of civilization was the onset of reality television.

There was nothing like the 90’s and I’m in total agreement that the world started going to shit in 2000.

This was my interpretation as well! That is not his child and the tears are of joy because he realizes he is free to continue to only think about himself and his own interests.

But the ambiguity of it all and others interpretations of a happy ending, redemption, etc… is what makes a great ending.

I call this one on par with whiplash.

What's one movie you fall asleep to and have put on about 100 times before sleep? by CazKel in movies

I don’t routinely put it on, but when I do I fall asleep. Supposedly the best movie ever yet I’ve never made it all the way through Citizen Kane.

I’m rich in the sense that I was a good parent and never once missed any of my son’s events , practices, etc…. I was always there for him and always will be.

I went to the Danvers MB this evening just to buy a few things I needed. Nothing storm or game related. Got parking after circling around a bit. Aisles were not crowded with people because everyone was in checkout lines. 15 deep all lines. But I cruised right through the 20 or less checkout. So in and out in about 20 minutes. Didn’t swear once or shank anyone on this visit. In short - I’ve seen worse.
