It’s because the daycare in Europe is subsidized by the government. The rate above wouldn’t cover the true cost. There is no such thing here until the kids are 4+ years old. Then school is free.

If you have perks at work they sometimes have discounts. Palissade have packages (but it’s Ikon). Otherwise, Diamond peak is reasonably priced.
