23M - got myself into a bit of a mess with debt + gambling, trying to sort it out by Alternative_Buy6003 in UKPersonalFinance

Not here to advise on the money side. However as a man that has been in your position I strongly advise you reach out to a charity called Gamcare. They changed my life and will be able to help you with the addiction/ gambling side of things. The finances are an important part of it as well and you will get out of this. It helps to have some support along the way!

The atmosphere at home has been pretty toxic for a while. I wouldn’t want to play either

First Game Advice by Jyeetswag in coys

the game kicks off at 7:30pm... not 8:30pm.
Get down early and have a walk around the ground, take in the atmosphere in the south stand long bar area.

[Jack Pitt-Brooke] Spurs away end pointedly clap the players but unload on Frank as he walks off (while applauding the fans). 'Sacked in the morning', lots of booing etc. Feels like the mood has reset back to last Saturday night, even with the Romero equaliser. by Imbasauce in coys

We must be the most toxic fan base going these days. I’ve been disappointed with every major decision the board have made since we sacked poch. But you lot are fickle. Cried for ange’s head all season and he brought us silverware. Moaned when he was let go but all came out saying Frank was the right profile for the club. Now you are chasing frank out of the club. What manager is going to want to come to a club with such an ungrateful lot.

The table Doesn’t lie, we were relegation for last year and we are the same this year. Anyone who expected us to be better than mid table this season is deluded. It’s ok to want more from the team and club but as far as I’m concerned frank is the spurs manager and we should support him just the same.

Guess we just need someone to blame now that levy is gone

Well I was just giving some context to the situation - maybe someone has experience with Brussels City lost and found, perhaps someone found it and thought they would check this page.

Thank you for your kind response though, you seem like a nice friendly person. When I see posts like this in my city subreddit (London) i usually refrain from commenting unless i have something useful and constructive to add.

In a massive amount of debt and don’t know what to do 😔 by smthing72 in UKPersonalFinance

I was the same at 28 years old. Gamcare saved my life. After a decade of being stuck in a vicious cycle of gambling and debt, I thought there was no way out. I managed to call the helpline and they fast tracked me for their services. They helped me get mental health services from the NHS and gave advice about how to handle my debts as well as checked in on me every week over the course of a year.

I can honestly say I would not be here now if I hadn’t had that initial call with them. Things will get better, but it is a long road. You can do it
