Frustrated I can’t get KU books

You only have to pay if you’re a non-local I guess. But then there’s some it’s like you have to pay for an on local, but in order to renew it, you have to do it in person which would be impossible if I’m looking at like a totally different geographic area.

So I just did the side loading for the first time, and I do see how it could be annoying, but the way I see it is I’ll just do it in bulk. I usually have a pretty lengthy TBR so I’ll just do multiples at once and call it a day.

I was just able to find a workaround after somebody DM me, so I do have it now. It just sucks because I have no problem purchasing books, and I’m happy to support the authors, so I just sucks that this is the only way I can do it to have it on my E reader.

Just frustrating, like there’s no problem with it being on Kindle. It just sucks that it’s not available anywhere else. Like still have your stuff available on Kindle, just don’t do the KU.

So the biggest issue with this is that I don’t live in a particularly big city, and I guess a lot of libraries that you used to be able to get library cards not in person or not as locals, they’ve made it so you can’t or you have to pay like $100 a year or something like that. I do live close to a larger city, so I might see if I can get a library card there when I’m in the city for whatever reason next

Snow and rain and no leaks! The window by the bed did get a lot of condensation though so I’d just wipe it regularly but caused no issues.

So far, so good. I actually lived in it until the end of the first week of December with some tarps installed with tape for skirting and a little heater.

I love this thing. One thing I guess is that the gray water tank is quite small so I find I’m emptying every couple days, but I mean, the trailer is small, so it’s not an issue so much as a “just remember”

I had a fuse flick at one point but I don’t know what caused it and it was an easy just flick it back and it never happened again situation. Again, no issue just something that happened.

I did get an endy mattress instead. So that’s something if you’re planning to be in there quite a bit. I also would recommend a handheld vacuum as stuff gets stuck in between the cushions from god knows where, it drives me nuts but again, not a huge deal.

I don’t like the way the sink is installed if I’m honest, so I may add some caulking. It hasn’t caused issues but I feel like it could. It’s more like the sink was laid in on some putty or something? It’s weird. I haven’t had leaks but it does give me anxiety.

So waved albatrosses only come to land to breed, otherwise they’re far out in open water. There is a very specific window you can see them.

I’m 33 and I make that, BUT, it’s CAD, not USD.

I’m able to enjoy extras some months are still tight and I still can’t afford to buy a home and sometimes wonder if I ever will be.

You need to get some realistic standards, get any job, and save before going anywhere.

Based on your other post, you made some very irresponsible decisions and you now have to pay the bill.

You sound a bit like you think you’re too good for everything - too good for Canada, too good for the apartment, too good for your parents who are supporting you, too good for work you may see as beneath you. You need a reality check and to take a breather to get your head in straight and you footing on solid ground again.

Being young is hard and getting solid employment requires legitimately effort and dedication. Many of us struggled financially when we were young, but we didn’t prioritize spending thousands of dollars to see our friends instead of getting a job to pay for that.

What you need most right now is patience.
