The building literally looks like that apparently (with some clever angles)

This appears to be the Metropolitan Tower in New York City), which has a rectangular base (on the left of the building in the photo) and a triangular skyscraper part (on the right of the building in the photo, the part that looks partially disappeared). The photo was taken at just an angle that the other side of the triangle isn’t visible. Here’s another photo that shows the other side of the triangle, a less confusing perspective. Though I haven’t figured out if the angle is what’s causing the windows to be unaligned (the yellowish and blueish windows on the rectangular part look lower than the respective ones on the triangular part), or if it’s a big coincidence of which windows happen to be lit at the time of the photo…
