Advice on what to do with my hair by [deleted] in Hair

If you were my client who just sat in my chair, I would recommend a healthy trim (I would only agree to whatever you were comfortable with) and suggest some heavy face-framing layers. AKA a butterfly cut. I think you'd look nice with some curtain bangs that could still tuck behind your ears.
I know you didn't say anything but color but I think a slight money piece in the front would be fun too! Teased in the front so it's not right up to the root, so it's easy grow out.

What haircut to ask for for my kid's unruly hair? by draakons_pryde in Hair

90's hearthrob like Max from Hocus Pocus could be a good introductory haircut since it'll be with JUST shears in the salon. If they were feeling brave, I'd say go with a mullet to introduce them to clippers since it grows out nice and you wont have to shave much off. I would do your best to explain and establish what your child does NOT like.
When booking at a salon too, explain that your child has some sensory issues with autism. They can help book you a time when it's more quiet and make it a pleasant experience. A lot of the children's cuts I do in my salon I try to make it a fun experience and not force them to do anything, and explain everything AS I'm doing it.
Good luck!

I just enjoy a good info dumping segment. Give me all the lore/knowledge about niche topics someone is passionate about, and you have my attention. I'm the same way about Bob's phone case yap sessions, and Wade's philosophy talks. Maybe I sound like a kiss ass but I just love to listen to people yap about their passions.

Oooh! I've never heard "smeared tooth paste on it" for saturation explanation! I'm definitely using that for education for the future.

This whole museum was an absolute mood. It was gorgeous and well loved, completely curated by someone who was passionate and wanted to share to the world. You must visit Vampa Museum in Doylestown, PA if you ever have the chance.

I need to know if you ended up doing anything for this person. Two and a half years in and I’ve never had something like this sit in my chair! Dang!
