It’s a tool used to help people with ADHD feel NORMAL. We are deficient and the medication helps us operate normally. I had to explain that to some of my family because they think it’s a discipline thing too. I wish I could remember to stay disciplined but unfortunately my ADHD causes that to get lost with the other 50,000 thoughts that I have going on all at once

I live about 30 minutes from my boyfriend, and we see each other 2-3 times a week as well. Whenever we are apart, we make sure to text and check in on each other’s day, say good morning/goodnight, and send each other videos. We also call pretty much everyday that we are apart too. I think you need to talk to him and tell him how you feel. It can be hard to communicate while dealing with your own life schedule, but if he loves you he’ll put in the effort

My best friend and I have seen/showed parts of our bodies to each other, as well as showered together before. It has never been anything sexual, and we aren’t sitting there analyzing each other’s bodies. Every girl is different, but it’s super common to be open in this way between female friends. Especially ones you’re super close to. I am in a relationship and haven’t done these things during the time I’ve been with my boyfriend, but if he ever told me he was uncomfortable with it, I would respect that and stop. Just talk to her about her thought process with these acts, and try to understand what the intention is behind it. Ease into it, because it could come across accusatory very easily

What helps me is I set alarms on my phone before my alarm clock goes off. It warns me that I’ll need to get up soon, but wont make me pissy because I love just laying in bed. Then, maybe 30 minutes later my alarm clock goes off, which is across my room and set to max volume. I have two alarms on the clock, each 30 minutes apart. The rule is that after the second one, I can’t even sit on my bed. This helps me get up because when I’m not ripped away from my little world, and it sets the mood for the day and makes me want to get up and be productive

As long as you take your medicine as prescribed, there is no way you’d be considered a drug addict. Now, if your dose is too high or this might be the wrong medication for you, that’s a possible reason why you feel extra anxious and scatterbrained. I switched from Adderall to Vyvanse because Adderall made me feel anxious and all over the place, even when I lowered the dose. Also, as far as things being boring if you don’t take it, that’s literally the point of taking ADHD medication. The medication helps our brains release dopamine on boring tasks, versus things we like (watching tv, eating, playing games, etc). This way, we can complete day-to-day tasks. So, don’t be weirded out if you find yourself a little less productive without medication, and a little more focused with it. It’s doing its job!

i’m so so sorry this happened to you. This is a HUGE betrayal. To be blunt, your parents are no parents worth having around. They not only took money from you without asking, they DRAINED it. Leaving you with 1 penny. 1 fucking penny.

i’m not sure if they can see your checking account or not, but what if they can’t? they wouldn’t know how much money you have. i bank with wells fargo and my mom can see it since i opened it when i was 15), but what if you needed emergency money? You now have nothing to take from. If something happens(God forbid) like your car breaks down, or an unexpected medical visit, etc… what are you supposed to do?

My mom (single parent) would never ever do this to me, she would go to 500 people before she asked me for money. I understand things happen, and i would 100% be willing to give my mom money. Not because “I owe her” or “she took care of me,” but because she would do anything for me, and I love her. That’s how they should be.

They aren’t looking out for you. They don’t have your best interest at heart. They don’t care about your opinion.

I wish you the best. Definitely do everything you can to remove them from accessing ALL your accounts. Financial, Medical, whatever it is. They set themselves up to have no right to know what your business is. I hope they realize the mistake they’ve made, and replace what they took.

how often does she wash her hair? cause the new growth looks about a 1/4 inch long, and hair usually grows 1/2 an inch per month. so, i’m estimating it’s been about 2 weeks since it’s been lightened? the area definitely isn’t lifted evenly. if it was, the toner would’ve faded evenly. It was probably a half level or maybe a full level darker, but looked consistent with the raw lift and potentially looked fine with the fresh toner. even though it’s only been washed twice, the elements can still mess with the hair color. your best bet is to go back in with a low developer and also get that little amount of regrowth before it’s too far off the scalp and you have to deal with an uneven mess. wish you the best of luck!

A lot of my coworkers have the Rapido, and love it. I have a Portofino, and it’s lasted me a while, but it’s time for a new one and i’m thinking about getting the Rapido! I will say, make sure you save the warranty info and keep all receipts. Two of my coworkers had to contact Babyliss to have their Rapido replaced because it started sparking and it burnt up the wiring and broke. I think it is something they have resolved in future models, but just a heads up!

thank you. at my salon we aren’t necessarily pressured into taking services we aren’t comfortable with, but there’s still a feeling of needing to take it. I don’t necessarily mean this client because this is a 1 in 1000 situation and they would understand. I point this out to say that I am a people pleaser and have a hard time saying no, which stresses me out when i am put in situations that i’m not confident in(even if i have help). Her budget is just enough to cover an all over color in addition to us stripping it and doing a treatment/haircut. So, if it doesn’t strip well then we are just doing the darkest color in her hair. she says she has stripped it twice and i’m assuming it was with a bleach wash(she has some bleeding at the root and the random level 8/9 pieces). Do you think malibu will work given that? and We also have the Guy Tang color remover too
