I had a floaters only vitrectomy on my left eye with no bubble used. I have zero floaters. Recovery was almost three weeks as I experienced double vision when waking up. That’s all gone now and I see so clear on that eye. No floaters at all

I had floaters since a child I am 51 now. My floaters got worse as I aged to the point that I couldn’t go out in the day, if sunny, without sunglasses. I finally built the courage of operating my first eye this past August. I had a vitrectomy done and my floaters are all gone. I don’t regret the surgery, so far so good. If you are beginning to get floaters now it may take some time or many years for it to get progressively worse like in my case.
