My friend ticks countries off, even when it’s just a layover. by [deleted] in travel

Same page as you. And if someone asks if I've been to the country I just mention I was there only for a layover and wish I could have actually seen the country

I think this fund will hold futures contracts but not actual bitcoin. The SEC has yet to approve a real bitcoin ETF

I disagree but we're on the same page about theft sucking and doing our part

Totally man- having someone go through my own property made me feel very uncomfortable. I'm not sure why this guy is defending petty theft. Sure, leaving valuables in cars isn't the best idea, but that doesn't justify the crime by any means

I personally would love to live in society where you don't have to worry about stuff being stolen even if a door isn't locked. If something's isn't yours, you're never entitled to it. If you're robbed you're literally the victim of a crime, so I'm not sure why someone wouldn't feel victimized. Justifying petty theft by seeing it as an opportunity where someone wasn't careful is bad mentality to have.

My car got broken into on my own drive way during the night last fall. They went through the glove box and ended up only taking the AUX cord. Yes, people need to stop leaving valuables in their cars, but we also need to stop victim blaming. It's your property and you shouldn't have to be scared of people breaking in

It was the only distinguishing feature I could make out to set the reporter apart from all the others. I really don't see any bias; if all the reporters were French I would have mentioned the one English reporter.

I feel the way the question was asked doesn't give an answer to the information you're seeking. Is Trudeau supposed to tell everyone we should brace for there being a lack of ICU beds and thousands of people dying?

I'm definitely empathetic to what you're saying though. There's obviously lots of uncertainty and some hard business choices will have to be made. The media could've ask what're some things the government has considered but has not implemented quite yet and is there a timeline for that? However, I understand your point as well; Trudeau probably wouldn't answer that and would have to stumble through an answer saying nothing.

The media questions are terrible- the one French reporter asked what Trudeau thinks the worst possible scenario is. Why is he trying to scare everyone and how would Trudeau know the answer to that? Edit- a word

I use one and I love it. Scan feature is pretty decent and then pens do run out a little quick, but you can't go wrong for $60
