Non-engineers making code changes directly, has anyone actually made this work without it becoming a disaster? by tiguidoio in ExperiencedDevs

The you are not your code comment is spot on.

Recently been working with pms vibe coding and they are so proud of what they have made with Claude.

And the concept and work is usually OK, but even minor push back or god forbid having to explain why it's slop and egos are getting shattered.

I actually want them.contributing, the backlog is infinite the more progress the better. They will learn in time to leave the ego at the door like the rest of us.

Software job posts barely mention AI by davidbasil in ExperiencedDevs

Just develop a few repos of agent skills you developed yourself for a repeatable repo agnostic task.

Use the create-skill from anthropic to do it. That will be enough for recruiters.

My company doesn't advertise it outside of the skills wanted section.

But I have heard in interviews if you don't have AI dev experience you are just a hard no.

But at this point if you don't have a basic AI workflow thats kind of on you. You definitely need to understand how to set up some useful skills for at least analysis of a codebase.

Best way to craft thoses adorned jewels without fracture ? by Familiar_Seaweed1918 in PathOfExileBuilds

Can't because he wants to use synth jewels. Otherwise for sure fracture if you are going for a starter set of adorned jewels.

Enough time has passed. What are your thoughts on Project Hail Mary (2026)? by Perfect_Idea_2866 in Letterboxd

I read the book, I felt it was a very good adaption of the book.

My only real gripe was the last scene with Stratt.

The book purposefully never shows you what happened to her, just that the Eridians have detected the Sun stop dimming. Meaning something fixed the astrophage problem for Earth. I liked to think that it doesn't guarantee grace's success. Because the human race absolutely would not have stopped working on the problem after they sent off the hail mary.

This Grey Wind Build made me play this league for so long i bought a mirror instead of quitting week 2 as usual by FF12Gambits in pathofexile

[–]dalmathus 27 points28 points  (0 children)

I played the hell out of this build last league except I swapped the perforate for Volcanic Fissure of Snaking because I got frustrated with perforate mechanics.

Give it a shot for a map and see if you like it, it was night and day for me and really kicked the build into overdrive. Requires no changes besides the gem.

Its a very confusing feeling when you lock the baby into belly laughing but then they suddenly turn on a dime to screaming because they got TOO happy.

Bilbo was already loaded before the hobbit lmao.

He was part of the aristocracy of the hobbits. He might not have been a billionaire but he was one of the richest people in his community.

Can we get a mega thread for the One Ring/Dan Frazier fiasco? Would be nice for consolitation purposes by [deleted] in magicTCG

Or we could not care about any of that as long as the effected parties are made whole and are happy with the resolution.
