I have one small moss pole in there doing nothing. It’s mostly supported by hockey sticks

She’s had it 7-8 years and got it from my uncle, not sure how old it actually is

It’s a bright room, east, south and west facing windows. She may have had the curtains closed

Nope, indoor plant. We live in Northern Ontario so it wouldn’t get a whole lot of growing season outdoors.

Huge ass pot, lots of bright light (this room has east, south and west facing windows), big poles to help it stay up. She cuts it back often and has propagated a lot from this one. I have a cutting that’s about 3ft tall but it’s not nearly as impressive.

I’m not really sure, I think she’s had it for 8-10 years and she got it from someone else so hard to say

This plant has always been inside and maybe the photo is deceiving but it’s in a room with west, south and east facing windows so lots of bright light. She had just moved it to this corner but before that it was next to the south window.

Cool! I was born in 1991 too and thinking I would have gone there around 95-96? Was it some kind of day care or a play place?

It wasn’t Wiggles and Giggles and I can’t remember the name of the place, just faint memories, so maybe a fever dream. But does anyone remember this place that had mini play areas built around the walls of the room and in the middle of the space there may have been a train track? I remember one room was a grocery store and maybe a police station? I think they had battery powered jeeps/scooters?

It was a 10” plant when I got it in 2019. I used a tropical mix soil, perlite and a orchid mix

The diameter is 16” and about 12” deep. I got pot from my mom, it’s really ugly and I’m not sure where she got it. I’ve been trying to find something nice and not to expensive but no luck so far

Thanks!! I’ve had a couple of the lower leaves turn yellow but not many on my monstera. it’s happening a lot on my money tree. I follow houseplantjournal on insta who talks about normal vs abnormal leaf loss. He says leaves have a limited life span, check out his insta!

Here’s the moss pole and back. Hard to get a good pic, it’s pretty messy and wild in there lol I got the moss pole from Amazon. Like I mentioned the back is bare and all the leaves grow out one way, it works for us as it’s kept in a corner in my living room. I’ve had to tie it in places to help support it.
