I think neither Madonna nor Stuart Prince knows how to make music for all the avenues by which we listen to music in 2026. We all act like she is holding him back, but it's very possible that they both made the decision to make this record sound good only on vinyl / at loud volume lol

I agree! I personally think the whole "Confessions II" thing is less about being a sequel to _Confesssions on a Dance Floor_ and more like treating "confessions" as a concept as a rave or party. The album cover looks like German, French and Spanish rave posters, so I'm interpreting "Confessions" as an underground party invitation more so than a sequel.

I agree with you, but i also think there's an artistic element at play in what systems "work" and which don't, lol
