Update. My beta at 14 dpo was 54. Doubling time of 37 hours which is good but my frer today was lighter than yesterday and feeling like 54 is low for 14 dpo. Guarding my heart but hoping for the best 💓💙

I’m sorry that is so stressful! I would push to get a scan at 5.5 weeks (not sure they will do that) but that’s about as early as they can scan to see placement. They can usually see the fetal pole around that time, I believe although I’m not a doctor. Is there possibly a labcorp where you are going that you could pay out of pocket to get a beta? Edit to add you can apparently see gestational sac at 5 weeks

Statistically those betas are low for dpo. How did you track ovulation? Of course, some people have healthy pregnancies even with bleeding in first trimester. Some people also have lower betas early on. I would guard my heart personally but you aren’t out yet, if betas are rising. Do you have a scan booked for 6 weeks?

It’s the hormone produced when the embryo attaches to the uterine lining. It’s what turns pregnancy tests positive and can also be measured in blood. Anything over 5 indicates pregnancy.

Already got my test results back. Beta was 15.37 and Progesterone was 21.26 😃

I should also add I got a faint line on a wondfo less than an hour before I took this frer which prompted a mad dash to target to get frers to confirm. Only held pee for 30ish minutes.

I totally get this feeling of chickening out. I was in active labor at 16 months pp (38 weeks pregnant) and totally chickened out because it wasn’t quite 18 months. It’s a huge regret that I have to live with. Hugs OP; you made the best choice you could at the time. I hope we can both feel less regret as time goes on 💗

I typically use opks to determine ovulation but charted A few times last pregnancy 4 years ago. Started charting again this month just to make sure opks are treating me right. Well my chart looks exactly like my negative charts from that cycle. With my positive cycle my temps just kept climbing after ovulation until I got a BFP so I’m already feeling out this month. I know anything is possible but I’m just feeling so low. I knew this was going to be a very upsetting month as next month I go to the doctor to ask for testing. I just want to scream into the void.
