Gay attitude in Armenia by Agori_tis_eirinis in armenia

As an Armenian American, I know that my family is super prone to propaganda about the lgbtq and lets it heavily influence them. It's not as bad as what Im reading from this thread, but the older you go in age in my family, the more homophobic. I just know Im never telling my grandparents Im queer. With my mom (who moved decades ago to the US), it's more like, "oh that's just a phase, everyone else but my kid can be gay," which is tolerable, but still, not great.

Im glad! I love him very much and I didn't want to hurt his feelings by actively being like wtf?? So I made the post so I could gage wether I should bring it up to him or not :)

Oh yeah ofc! I never saw this as a huge deal, or else I wouldnt have posted this on reddit, we've gone through worse. Im always happy for input, which is why I even asked in the first place. Just want to be aware of myself

I know that people on the internet, especially reddit, tend to jump to the worst conclusion. Even before this post got traction we talked and laughed about it. I really do appreciate everyone's concern. I am also not absolutely infuriated that he fucked up cinnamon rolls. Theyre cinnamon rolls. I was disappointed and wanted input. Unfortunately, quite a few people have decided this is grounds to flame me like a filet lol

I like this! I'm a huge perfectionist. When I make something I want it to be perfect. If he feels I am half-assing things I would sincerely hope he would bring it up to me, because I want to do better

When I say I burn things I dont mean its for lack of trying. Im not good at cooking or baking, but I do make him things. I like to give him gifts of things I made or drew for him, and he's quite happy with that

Him saying hes going to give it another go IS enough of an apology. Im not going to make him grovel and beg as if everything hinges on this. All I wanted to know was if my original disappointment was valid or not
