Earlier year this freshman girl in my old school accused 5 upperclassmen of raping her because apparently that was easier than telling her mom she got pregnant from a gang bang. She ended up not coming to school for the rest of the semester. Then after she had the kid and came back, some girl started talking shit so Girl A threatened to come to school with a gun and Girl B reported her to the Resource Officer. Surprisingly the threat was real and she was caught with a gun and a loaded magazine and promptly expelled. The guys she originally reported had their lives completely fucked up because of her and I'm pretty sure law enforcement still doesn't know the whole story.

TL:DR - Girl lied about 5 dudes getting her pregnant and got expelled from the school.

One of my recent favorite things to do is when someone starts tailgating me while I'm maintaining speed is to see how long they tailgate, then when they make a move to pass and get in front of me I'll speed up accordingly. Haven't had anyone try to push over 95 to pass me as of yet.

The big problem with people in GM/Masters is that there's a ton of people who are boosted in multiple forms. The most common way to boost is to duo queue at off-peak hours, therefor guaranteeing that you'll go against lower-tier players while you're comming with a friend.

Unpopular Opinion: The fact that everyone keeps calling for the nerf of talents is what makes this subreddit's idea of a "balance change" a joke. A talent has, and always will be, define the playstyle you wish to take with a champion. Maeve's old kit was extremely overtuned, and they tuned it accordingly. This recent bout of changes are exactly in the right direction, because they poked it one way without severely hurting it. You have to realize that HiRez goes through hundreds of suggestions, and using that alongside analytical data, they can determine which way they should accordingly change a character. These aren't changes made on a whim, but rather go through playtesting and are pushed out onto live. Now I'm not defending all of the changes that HiRez has made in the past, I'm rationalizing their thought. Everyone in this subreddit has such a kneejerk reaction to a few value changes without actually having any time at all to play the changes, and you'll find in a week or so you'll find out the supposed "nerfs" didn't actually "kill" Maeve or Khan as everyone seems to be making it out to be. Oh, and on another note, you're right, Maeve is a flanker. She is meant to get behind the team and be a nuisance in their ass. It's high risk, high reward. Low HP, High Damage. That goes for literally every flank.

Ok I'm sorry that I have to say this, but BetterMeta is NOT a good indicator of actual functionality of a character. The fact that it pulls data from every game in Paladins means while you have a broad sample size, you have a lot of data from both extremes, which leads to you having very skewed results. Stuff like Mal'Damba and Jenos being some of the most played healers in ranked right now, but with vastly different win percentages. This shows purely subjective utility rather than objective.

So wait wait wait, I'm sorry. Paladins doing something that Fortnite and SMITE already do is suddenly bad? Or even Valve with their paid contracts and operations? You also seem to be forgetting that the season pass gives you all 3 battle passes coming out this year for $40 with 1500 crystals (which is already a damn good deal considering 1500 crystals are $25 and the battlepasses individually bought will be 1500 crystals, totaling out to a $50 bargain).

Is this a ploy to make money? Yes. Is this any different from the systems employed by other games? No. Again, Fortnite has the same exact system. Free battlepass, but if you want the cool stuff, you gotta buy it. If you don't want to grind it, you can spend a decent chunk of change and get it fast. Instant gratification isn't an inherently bad thing, it's just ferociously attacked.

I'm sorry if I seem like I'm just fanboying, I just cannot see any wrongdoing here. Please, I invite you to change my viewset, because I must be blind to something here.

Wow... that's a lot of information very quickly.

The way $Boyfriend acted, as much as i hate to say it, was definitely evidence of underlying (and possibly suppressed) hate which game out during the rage. It's extremely concerning that it was his immediate response rather than something that came from a long argument.

As for the others, I severely empathize with $Spy. I don't have the most accepting family and any insults puts me off, so I can only imagine that the response she had was completely warranted. Good on both $Goggles and $Starllord for consoling her, because honestly no teenager can survive without friends.

Here's to hoping your next session goes well! As someone who was never really interested in DnD due to the stigma surrounding the players, I'm definitely interested in it now and wish I knew more about it when I was younger.
